Stardust Circus Protest - Queanbeyan

Circuses with exotic animals are banned in the ACT. Unfortunately they are still legal in Queanbeyan, our neighbouring NSW town which sits just outside the border of the ACT.

 

Below are some photos of ALACT members protesting just outside the entrance to the circus. Stardust Circus has performing lions, monkeys and until very recently, elephants.

 

Please write to the Queanbeyan City Council and ask them to ban circuses with exotic animals in their shire.
